Day 68: Oulton to Leeds

A short walk today to get us back into the swing of things. Wendy dropped us back at Oulton and we walked a short distance along the road to rejoin the Trans Penine Trail at the Aire and Calder Canal, which we followed all the way into Leeds.

By following the canal we by-passed all the built up area and only left the path when we reached the sign to the Armoury Museum, which was also the site of our hotel. It was only lunch time by then so we checked in and had a stroll into the city centre and an enjoyable light lunch and mooch around the shops etc. The statue in the photo is the Black Prince outside the Town Hall.
