After a great sojourn at Penlan B&B - thanks Mary and Tim we left the coastal path behind for a day and set off inland along lanes and pathways to Padstow. The day was cloudy but fine and the walking was great as we bid a brief goodbye to the coast.
We linked into the Camel trail (named for the river and not the beast).
The trail follows the line of a disused railway and was thus an easy and picturesque walk all the way into Wadebridge.
