We took time to gaze out across the mine shafts to the sea
We lunched at Lands End and by the time we had finished the weather Gods figured we had had it too good and so the heavens opened and down came the rain.
We put our heads down and headed off back to St Just. The wind was howling and we could barely see our hands before our face so we left the coastal path and headed inland. Needless to say with our shoulders hunched and our eyes securely sheltered inside our waterproofs we missed our way and after doing a quick round of the cabbage patch and climbing over a stone wall we headed off up a muddy (ankle deep) farm track with the pervading waft of Odeur du Bovine in our nostrils. But Keith's navigation skills prevailed and we made It back to the pub in one piece and retired to the bar for a brandy.
