Day 16: Crackington Haven to Upton (near Bude)

A short day today thank goodness as I awoke feeling tired and lazy so every step was a burden lol! We paused as we were leaving to help give the peacocks their breakfast then off overland via paths and lanes of rural Cornwall.

Heading down the road into Widemouth Bay we met the Coastal path 

and immediately started the inevitable climb to the top of the cliff and took a moment to look back to where we had come from.

The walking was relatively easy today and we arrived at out B&B early to a very warm welcome, cup of coffee and piece of homemade cake. On enquiring about the whereabouts of the nearest launderette they kindly offered to do our washing for us. Ahhhhhh! An hour or so nap before tea.
